Apple Valley Medical Clinic Joins FPA Network

Minneapolis — The Apple Valley Medical Clinic has joined Fairview Physician Associates (FPA), a network of nearly 3,400 providers in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. With 19 family medicine providers located within the Apple Valley Medical Center, the Apple Valley Medical Clinic has served Apple Valley and surrounding communities with comprehensive patient care for more than 40 years.

“We are proud of our long history in this community and our compassionate and skilled providers,” said Mark Pottenger, administrator and chief operating officer of the clinic. “We are pleased that patients within the FPA Network now have greater access to the excellent care provided by the Apple Valley Medical Clinic, as well as our patients will have access to FPA Network specialists.”

Kevin Nelson, M.D., FPA Network president, said, “We are very happy to add the Apple Valley Medical Clinic to our Accountable Care Organization going forward, providing coordinated care for Medicare and commercial defined network plan beneficiaries. The clinic’s solid reputation, plus Fairview Ridges Hospital’s location within four miles of the clinic offers added convenience for patients with acute medical needs.”
