Family Practice Nursing Manager

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking an Family Practice Nursing Manager.  This position is responsible for the management, direction and coordination of the following nursing staff: Family Practice Clinic, Medication Management, INR and Triage. Requirements include current RN license in good standing with the state of MN and BLS & ACLS certification with at least 3-5 years of progressive clinical nursing experience.  Individual must have strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to provide direct patient care.

CMA or LPN – Family Practice

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a CMA or LPN in Family Practice. This position is responsible for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients.  Requirements include current CMA certification or current LPN license in good standing with the state of MN and ACLS & BLS certification.  Preference will be given to Family Practice and/or Pediatric experience.  Individual must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment as a member of the care team supporting the provider group.  The hours for the position are Monday-Thursday – 8a-2p or 2-8p and Friday – 12-6p.

Charge RN - Urgent Care

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (.75 FTE) to work in our Urgent Care.  This position is responsible for taking physician orders and directing flow of patient care.  Requirements include a current RN license in good standing with the state of MN and ACLS & BLS certification. Individual must be reliable, flexible and able to work well with a team. Hours for this position are evenings and every other weekend.

Medical Lab Technician (MLT)

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Medical Lab Technician. This position is responsible for specimen collection, conducting chemical analyses, reporting results and maintaining/calibrating equipment. Requirements include an Associates degree as a Medical Laboratory Technician, ability to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings and weekends) and experience with an EMR. New graduates must pass the ASCP board within 6 months

Medical Billing/Coding Specialist

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Medical Billing/Coding Specialist.  This position is responsible for generating invoices, verifying and completing charge information, reviewing diagnosis codes and following up on insurance claims & payments. This position will be assigned specific accounts and will be responsible for generating claims and follow through to payment.  Requirements include 2-5 years of coding and claims reimbursement, strong communication skills and special attention to detail.  Individual must have knowledge of CPT and ICD-10.

Systems Trainer/Patient Advocate (Full-Time)

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Systems Trainer/Patient Advocate. This position is responsible for the delivery of education and training for all AVMC employees – new and existing – to support their overall competency with software systems and clinical quality measures. Requirements include training experience with various clinical staff and knowledge of Electronic Health Records (EHR). In addition, this role will be working directly with patients concerns and website feedback. Anticipated hours for the position are flexible. Occasional evening hours are anticipated.

Patient Communication Representative (Full-Time)

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Part-time Patient Communication Systems Representative in the Info Hub. This position is responsible for answering telephones, taking accurate messages and scheduling appointments. This position utilizes internal systems to verify and update patient demographic information.  Requirements include a strong customer service focus, effective verbal and written communication skills and resourceful in problem-solving.  Preference will be given to individuals with previous healthcare experience.  Hours for the position are Mondays-Fridays – 10a-6p.

Medical Aesthetician/Laser Technician (27 hours/week) 

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Part-Time Medical Aesthetician/Laser Technician in Clinical Skin Therapeutics.  This position is responsible for providing cosmetic laser and skin care services. Requirements for the position include a current MN Aesthetician License, knowledge of and experience using Sciton lasers, chemical peels, waxing and facials.  Individual must be well versed on how the treatments work.  The hours for this position are Mondays and Tuesdays – 11a-7p, Wednesdays – 10a-6p and Saturdays – 9a-12p.

Front Desk Receptionist – Specialty Center (35 hour/week)

Triage RN 

Apple Valley Medical Clinic is seeking a Triage RN for the Information Hub. This position is responsible for triaging patient calls, assisting with prescription refills, following up with patients on behalf of their primary care provider, informing patients of lab results and serving as a liaison between home health nurses and family practice providers. Requirements include current RN license in good standing with the state of MN. Individual must be team-oriented, able to think critically, have proven customer service skills, excellent computer skills and must be able to thrive in a high-volume call center. Hours for the position are Monday- Friday - 10a-6p
