Family practice physicians are medical professionals who have completed a three-year residency in family practice and passed a rigorous written exam. These physicians, who treat patients of all ages, are trained in community health, internal medicine, minor surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, psychology, psychiatry, routine obstetrics and general gynecology.
