When scheduling an appointment, please let our offices know if you need an interpreter. We have a medical device (ELSA) on-site that our providers and staff use to assist with translation.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, please let us know. AVMC will arrange for a sign language interpreter. This service may also be provided when necessary to facilitate effective communication with your family or other companions who are deaf or hard of hearing. If your insurance does not cover these services, they will be provided free of charge to you by AVMC. If you need to visit Urgent Care, you may call in advance to request an interpreter.
